Brazilian signed to reinforce Toronto at the Intercontinental Championship

Futsal Club Toronto the Representative of North America in the Intercontinental Cup, continue to train hard for the upcoming competition and have announced the signing of Brazilian winger (ala): Hugo Velloso.

Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Hugo began his career in 1993 at Recreativo (MG). He formed part of teams like Minas Tenise Clube (MG), Poker/Pec (RJ), Praia Club (MG) and Florianopolis Futsal (SC). In 2012 the Brazilian moved to Al Arabi Sporting Club Kuwait, where hew was on contract prior to his arrival at the Canadian club.

The 2015 edition of the Intercontinental Futsal Cup occurs in the city of Erechim, in Rio Grande do Sul the Brazilian representatives in the competition Atlantico Erechim (RS), which are also responsible for hosting the tournament, with the support of the Brazilian Futsal Confederation through International Director Rubio Guerra.

Note: Hugo Velloso also played for John Deere and for Valencia Vijusa in Spain. In 2005, he also was drafted to the Brazilian National Futsal Team where Brazil won the Grande Prix de Futsal. He has numerous championships under his belt:
