IN-CLASS EDUCATION

The in-class component of the FC Toronto HP program aims to expand the student-athlete’s in-game knowledge and understanding of soccer / futsal, as well as the overall industry off the field / court.  

Student-athletes are assigned research and public-speaking projects on various aspects of sport and health.  In-class sessions include group work to help foster team-building skills, promote team bonding, culture, respect and peer responsibility.

To expand the student-athlete’s experience, field trips are also incorporated into the curriculum. These unique opportunities give student-athletes a fun break from their classes and training.

The FCT HP’s ultimate objective is to help build the overall character of each student-athlete, focusing on leadership, self-motivation, organization and time-management.  

Off the field / court, student-athletes spend five hours per week in classroom sessions focused on three segments:
