FUTSAL AND SOCCER TRAINING

Led by Coaches Hugo Rodrigues and Brandon Simoes, athletes train in intense soccer and futsal drills or related exercises (swimming, yoga and strength and conditioning) for 2.5 hours per day, five times a week.  The 12.5 hour per week training program is almost three times longer than the 4.5 hours typically offered by most other clubs (assuming three training nights a week for 1.5 hours).

This expansive format allows for more focused, intense and longer training sessions that cannot be matched by shorter evening training sessions.  Athletes benefit from smaller training groups within a more intimate environment, and garner more attention from our certified coaches. FCT players enrolled in the High Performance Program are periodically excused from evening team training sessions in order to manage their physical and academic work loads.
